Richard's Battle Fund

First, the bad news for those who aren't already aware: Our friend Richard Ferrugio was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a couple of months ago. The good news is that the tumor is located in a place that caused it to be detected while it was still in its early stages, and still relatively small. The great news is that his prognosis is very good; that he has a fighting spirit; and that he will beat this.
This doesn't mean that the road will be easy.  The truth is that it will be extremely difficult for the next three to six months. The situation remains very fluid and the medical team is constantly evaluating his progress and the next steps. 
The chemo Richard's been getting is brutal and it's taken a toll on his ability to perform every-day tasks. That's why Juan hasn't left his side for a minute since this battle started. This is where your generosity comes in.
Please, help me raise funds that will go directly to Richard and Juan and will be used to cover a portion of the expenses that come with a battle against pancreatic cancer. I set a fundraising goal of $3000 because gofundme required a goal. However, I hope we can exceed that amount.
