Raising for Richard

The last 18 months have been pretty rough. Was diagnosed with lymphoma in my neck and melanoma in my throat. Went through aggressive chemo and radiation and in March 2022 I got to ring the winning bell at Texas Oncology-the best! THANK YOU GOD, my family and friends. Recovery’s been rough, but ongoing but took a turn about 8 weeks ago. I’ve been losing weight and was diagnosed with Squamash Cell lung cancer. I’ve been in and out of the hospital recently to try to get my weight up so that I’m strong enough to do another cancer battle. I had a feeding tube installed to way up my caloric intake and my weight is inching up. My insurance graciously has approved the new treatment, my finances after the last bout won’t cover the extensive copay; I just don’t have it. Texas Oncology has a treatment plan ready to start as soon as I’m strong enough. I’m embarrassed and humbled to be in this place of asking for help but the concept was presented by a dear friend. I’ve prayed that the Good Lord help me with this hurdle and any amount is greatly appreciated!
