Richard Thompson stroke recovery journey.

We don't know what will happen in our lives, good or bad. Life is unpredictable.
On Sunday, July 19, 2020 my dearest husband Richard Thompson was hospitalized at MUSC Hospital with the stroke. Richie has loss of mobility and control of the right side of his body. He got the clot buster medication TPA and as for today, he will remain at the hospital until Thursday, July 23. His doctor highly recommended immidiate rehab after that.
The sky-high costs of the medical expenses make me believe that we can't do that alone.
From the bottom of my heart I kindly ask for your prayers and assistance in supporting my loving husband Richie as he trying his best physically and emotionally recover from the stroke.
Doctors are very optimistic about his quick improvement for the last two days after tons of IV's, numerous treatments and medications. And only with your support we can help Richie to stand firm on his feet. Richie has a huge willing to live, to recover and gives all his power as a potential as well to take him back to normal life.
I hope that everyone continues to stay safe and take care as well as we all fight our own battle through this pandemic.
Thank you all so much for your kindness, understanding and generosity. I will keep your families and you in my prayers.
