Richard Soete fight against stroke

You may know my father, Richard, sufferred a massive stroke 4/30/2015 after heart surgery. He lost total use of the left side of his body and had to work to retrain his brain to use the left side. After months of physical therapy, a few set backs with hospitalizations, he was up walking again and was doing rather well. Unfortunately, with the continued numbness in his feet and the risk for falling, he slipped in the kitchen and broke his hip a few months ago. This has been a huge setback for him along with inability to use his left hand after loss from the stroke. Back to rehab he went after his hip surgery. Today, he requires total care from my mother who has been unable to return to work as she cares for him. Even simple tasks that we all take forgranted are a challenge for him- walking, showering, reading, ect. He 
continues to have complications from the stroke, poor short term memory, difficulty with his vision, and walking with a walker is very difficult even after all of his rehabiliation.   Yet his determination is there. He will have another surgery on Tuesday as a result of the stroke. 

Your donation will help my folks with medical bills, improving their home for disability needs, and hopefully allow some in home help to care for him. Especially given  the fact that my mother may not be able to return to work.
