Richard “Rick” William Watts, died in a tragic drowning accident at Virginia Beach on October 7, 2018. Rick lived in Northern Virginia and was at the beach for Columbus Day weekend with his family.

He leaves his wife of 29 years, Katja and their 11 year old son Ryan.

Rick was a phenomenal human being who touched the lives of so many people around the world. Many of you who knew and loved Rick have reached out wanting to do something to help, so we set up this GoFundMe account to assist in establishing a college fund for Ryan.

A celebration of Rick’s life will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 1:00p.m. at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Rd. Fairfax, VA 22032. All are welcome to attend.
