Richard "Raider Rich" Covarrubias
Donation protected
Richard Covarrubias went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 23, 2020.
What an amazing man that has journeyed on. A proud Marine, Vietnam Veteran, Uncle Richard, to so many of us, Raider Rich to most, Grandpa of 8 (Great Grandpa in waiting to 1), Dad to 3, and soulmate to Becky for more than half their lives! He fought a hard fight against Covid-19; more than 50 days in the hospital! While that seems like a long time, his illness came on suddenly. With the emotional and psychological roller coaster of this disease, his passing was so unexpected.
We are asking for donations to help offset the costs of a celebration of life for our amazing, Uncle Richard. The unexpected effects of the Covid-19 pandemic have been catastrophic and unprecedented.
He was always so willing to help others at a moment's notice and has been there unconditionally for so many of us. To have this great, very loved member of the community honored in the same way by donating to help take care of his beloved wife, our Auntie Becky would be an extraordinary act of respect.
Thank you for the many prayers and the immense outpouring of love. We know that Auntie Becky's unwavering faith will hold the family together tightly. Your donation will give the family an opportunity to grieve and heal without the added burden of financial stress.
Thank you so much for your consideration...please stay safe!
Respectfully,
Elaina & Mickey
