Richard "Harvey" Jackson Recovery
Donation protected
In November 2018, Richard “Harvey” Jackson suffered a stroke. He was working hard in his recovery when he encountered pain resulting from his pre-existing colitis condition. The doctors determined that Harvey required surgery. Harvey was struck by pneumonia while recovering from his surgery and was having difficulty breathing on his own and required critical care and assisted breathing from a ventilator. Attempts to allow Harvey to breathe on his own were unsuccessful three times! He was heavily sedated for multiple weeks. In one last attempt to take him off the ventilator, Harvey miraculously began to breathe on his own! That was less than a month ago. He has been working hard to get back to 100% since.
A tremendous amount of love, prayers, and support have been sent Harvey’s way from his family, friends, colleagues, and his hockey families, the Gens and Silver Lake Hockey.
The funds raised from this campaign will provide Harvey with some assistance in paying medical and household expenses. They will help Harvey recover without worrying about covering the cost of anything he will need.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and your generosity is greatly appreciated.
