We are very sorry that Richard Minhtriet Phan, age 39, passed unexpectedly on Friday, September 8, 2023 in Morgan Hill, California.

We are all devastated by Richard’s loss, and so touched by the outpouring of support from all of you. Many have been asking us how best to pay tribute to Richard.

As some of you may know, Richard grew up in a Buddhist household. Throughout his life, with the guidance of his mother, Richard had contributed to many temples and charities in the United States and Vietnam. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to this fund. All contributions will be forwarded to the same temples and charities that Richard held dear. We cannot think of a better way to honor our beloved Richard.
