Richard Pedro Abarca

Hi, my name is Roshaunda Wise and I am fundraising on behalf of Richard Abarca's family. As some may know Richard was fatally shot in the stomach Thursday night east of downtown Oxnard. He was found by police officers who responded and taken to VCMC where they did an emergency surgery. Unfornantly he passed away at 5:13 am the next day, Friday, April 28, 2023. This fundraiser is in hopes to help put Richard to rest. So we all, his family and friends and all who knew and loved him dearly can give a proper goodbye. He will be cremated. Richard has been on such a journey. Life is not always easy and for some, it's far more troublesome and harder for others than the rest. Richard had a few rollercoasters despite all that he's done good and bad he deserved better. He was so misunderstood. But he also was a great friend, a true ride or die till the end. Richard knew how to make you laugh and knew what you needed when needed it. He was a beautiful soul, a loving big brother and a great dad to his beautiful children. He leaves behind his siblings, beautiful sons and daughter. Please absolutely anything helps to put this loving soul at peace properly. As his life continues in our Heavenly Father's hands. Thank you.
