Richard Patrick memorial and funeral funding
On Friday, May 9th, 2025 Richard "Richie" Patrick, his partner Briar Martin, and her family were involved in a fatal rollover accident on the interstate. Richard tragically lost his life, leaving an unfillable hole in the heart of a community. He was only 29 years old.
All proceeds go directly to Richard's funeral costs, whatever decisions those may be as carried out by his family during this time of grief. We ask for prayers, privacy, and understanding while they navigate the loss of their son.
Richard was a beautiful soul, never knowing a stranger, making friends and brightening people's lives wherever he went. He was kind and gentle, goofy and quirky, attentive and engaging; always ready with a ridiculous joke or to finger-gun while jumping off a forklift just to ask how you're doing or see if you needed a helping hand.
Richard is survived by his Mother Diane, his Father Richard, his partner Briar, and his immensely loving family; his memory lives on in the hearts and minds of all those he touched.
Sarah "Briar" Martin is currently hospitalized after the accident and has a lengthy road to recovery ahead of her. She has a separate GFM established to cover her hospital expenses, as well as her physical and mental recovery in the difficult months to come. Anything and everything is appreciated for both of them in this dark time.
