If you've had the pleasure of knowing any one member of my family, you can safely say that we are a prouder lot that has a hard time asking for help. But now more than ever, we need it.

My father's health very quickly and suddenly took a turn for the worst and most of his vital organs have begun to fall him. Nick is not expected to see the rest of the weekend, and his final expenses have fallen to his children to satisfy.

With this coming completely out of the blue, this is not something any of us have budgeted nor planned for and have a sizeable financial score to settle to lay him to rest and respect his final wishes.

If you knew my Dad, you know that he was the life of the party. A smile that could light up a room, a golden boy you could always count on for a laugh, a card master that would take your house in a game of cards, a bodyguard that would always have your back, and a buddy that could drink you under the table and still get you home safe and sound.

To do justice by his final wishes, he's seeking cremation, a memorial service, and a wake for his beloved friends and family. I humbly ask on behalf of my family for your assistance to grant him this last wish.
