Our almost 6 yr old grandson, has been very sick for the last 4-6 weeks. At first, they thought it was a sports injury, but that has been ruled out. He has been in three different hospitals and has been seen my a miriad of medical staff and specialists. He has been poked, proded, tested, and tubed, scanned and x-rayed, and more.
He and his family came to our house for Thanksgiving and ended up with a spiked fever, and was taken to a near by hospital for more tests and pokes and meds. Everything they have tested him for comes back negative, To GOD be the glory. However, he is still a very sick little boy. His smile and spunk have taken a back seat, he is weak, in pain, just not normal at all.
Richie's parents (our son Joel and Stacy) are with him constantly, and Daddy has had to call off work, and his paychecks are being affected. As you know, it's not only hard on the patient, but hard on his parents as well..no work, no sick time or vacation time, extra expenses continue...eating out, travel expenses,parking garages, back and forth to see the other 4 children, and expenses that insurance does not cover.
Would you prayerfully consider making a contribution of any amount to help this family out? ANY thing would be appreciated and used only for on going expenses.
