Richard Mcwilliams Father of Two

My brother, Richard Mcwilliams, the owner of Blast from the Past in Bay Shore, and his almost 10 month old son Donny, were struck by a car Halloween evening,on the way home from trick or treating with their family. Thanks to Rich lunging to get the stroller out of harms way, the car only hit a small part of the stroller causing Donny, to only suffer minor injuries. Rich however, took the brunt of the hit and has to undergo 2 surgeries for a major tibia break along with other injuries. This is a tragic blow to the family at the beginning of the holiday season. He will be unable to work for an indefinite period of time. If you know Rich, you know he is always the first to help anyone in need, he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed one. He is the one his wife and two children can always count on. His family would like to ask for help on his behalf, so he can focus on working on healing instead of having to worry about keeping the lights and heat on.
