Richard Maciejewski Fishing Pier

Richard "Papa" Maciejewski loved to fish.  He also treasured spending quality time with his grandchildren.  Seeing his face light up when he had the opportunity to fish with his grandchildren was a sight to behold.  As he aged, it became increasingly more difficult to get to his favorite fishing spots.  That is, until a wheelchair accessible fishing pier was built just a few miles from his home on Lake Ellyn.  Unfortunately, due to medical complications and his recent passing, Papa was never able to make it out to this fishing pier for our planned Father's Day celebration.  Therefore, we are looking to commemorate this fishing pier as a memorial in his honor - to serve as a special place for his loved ones to visit, feel his presence and enjoy his favorite pasttime.
