Funeral for Richard Louis Gonzalez

Richard Louis Gonzalez (Rico) 31 tragically was taken from the world just before 2am Saturday November 18th. He leaves behind his mother and father Andrea and Catarino Gonzalez, brothers Dominic and Catarino Gonzalez and daughter Athena Rae Gonzalez. He also leaves behind many aunts and uncles and dozens of cousins and many friends that have become family.

Unfortunately with this unexpected tragic event the family was unprepared with Rico passing away at such a young age. We are asking for donations to help with the expense of his funeral and with the expenses of helping to take care of his baby girl Athena. Any donation is appreciated by the family and will help tremendously.

Rico grew up in the area of Kansas City, ks. He was goofy and always loving. Every family event he made sure to make his rounds and give everyone a hug and tell them he loved them. His goofy laugh would have the whole room bust out in laughter. He always made sure to tell his daughter how loved and cherished she was. He never felt insulted that he was a “Mama’s boy” because he loved his mother dearly. He made his love for music abundantly clear with the lyrics he frequently wrote and rapped.

The friendships he made along the way will last a lifetime. The memories we have of him will live on forever through our hearts and his love will forever be felt.
