Richard Justis with emergency expenses

Many people have been touched by Richard’s community activism, volunteerism, and writing. Richard’s been our own Norfolk, small town, local hero, and all-around good guy for over a decade. Tirelessly hosting workshops and events to help progress a thriving DIY arts scene in the area thru Seize the Zine and NFK Zinefest, and keeping the medium of small-art Zines alive. If you’ve been to almost any arts related event in the last few years, you’ve more than likely seen one of his Zines and gotten to meet him. Richard is currently going through a personal emergency, having been laid off from his job and losing his home. I’m asking that if you’ve ever been helped by him, like many of us have, please step up and help our friend get through this tough moment in life. Anything you can give would be a help in trying to find a stable place to live and provide security for this single Dad. Thank you for taking the time to help out a fellow artist and humanitarian.
