Richard - Homeless and a Double Amputee

Several weeks ago, late on a Saturday night, I found Richard slumped over in his wheelchair in the back of a dark parking lot near Target in Short Pump. After much coaxing and the threat of a nasty thunderstorm, Richard allowed us to provide him with a hotel for the night.

Richard lost both legs to diabetes and was recently evicted from his home after being left solely responsible for the bills. His disability money wasn't enough to keep living there, so he was forced to live on the street.

All money donated to this fund will go to Richard for hotel expenses until permanent housing is finalized, meals, and medical expenses.
