Richard Hardy Cancer Treatment Expenses

Richard Hardy is a retired police officer, veteran, a loving husband, father, and grandfather (Poppy/Baba). He was recently diagnosed with Myxoid Liposarcoma, a very rare cancer that occurs in the legs and can spread to the lungs, heart, and abdomen. He is not old enough to be on medicare  yet and as you know, cancer treatment is ridiculously expensive. He has to undergo 5-6 weeks of radiation where he will have to stay in a hotel Monday-Friday (hotel stay is at his cost due to Covid, they aren't able to stay on the premises for free) for those 5-6 weeks. After the radiation he will have to have surgery to remove the tumor. If the CT results show that the cancer has spread he will also have to undergo chemotherapy. Unfortunately the bills are already piling up and it seems as though not too much has even been done yet, so I know it's scary for Dad and Mom to think of the upcoming expenses. They are doing everything they can. It breaks my heart to see them sell my Mom's Disney collection and Dad's motorcycle, but those things are nothing compared to having Dad here with us, so we will do whatever we can. Any little amount will help them, and if you can't afford to help we completely understand, and in lieu of funds, prayers would be greatly appreciated. (They are also greatly appreciated if you can afford to help.) Dad is a fighter, he has been his whole life. We have faith that he will make it through.
