Hi, my name is Ashley and I am raising money for my father in law Richard “Doc” Bolton.

Doc was at work Monday morning in Covelo and unfortunately fell off of the machine leading to multiple traumatic injuries. He was flown to Chico and had surgery last night. So far he has a concussion, a broken neck, and hairline fractures in his back.

His wife and son are over there now with him, but expenses add up quickly with hotels and food. We don’t know what his recovery process will be like and we don’t know how long he will be in the hospital for. We are waiting for them to do more tests as his swelling goes down. I will keep this page updated as I get information.

Any donations will go directly to Doc and Betty to alleviate the financial burden of medical bills, hotel stays, food while out of town, and regular bills. Doc has worked his entire life in the logging industry and his income loss is extremely unfortunate.
