Hey everyone,

my name is Hayley and I am setting up this Gofundme for my Aunt Alicia Anderson Burgemeier. Her beloved husband, Richard just lost his battle with cancer after fighting for two years. I have had family reach out to me already wanting to figure out how to lighten her financial burden. Since we can’t take the pain away of such a loss, we can help with letting her see she doesn’t have to bear it alone. This took a toll on her emotionally, mentally and financially. Through it all I witnessed as they loved each other hard, smiled through the struggles and I would love to see her get blessed during this very difficult time of having to navigate life without her love. The reality of that being, a widow now having to cover the costs of their home going from two sources of income to her now one disability check trying to get rid of vehicle payments, finding a reliable vehicle and live in this very expensive world where costs just keep going up. He left behind his love for her as he spoiled her, she was his whole world. But there was no life insurance, retirement or pension. My aunt did everything she could during his life and after the diagnosis as they spent the last of his life trying to fight his disease.
