Donating in Memory of Richard Brunswick

Hi, my name is Phillip Brunswick and I have started this campaign to facilitate donations for those who have reached out and wish to honor and remember my father, Richard Brunswick.

Dad was known as "The DogFather" among friends and family - and for good reason! Whether he was kicking back on the back porch watching football on a Sunday afternoon while feeding treats to his two pups, Cami and Link, or making sure that even the dogs "ate like Vikings" at family gatherings around the holidays, he always had a special affinity for his canine companions.

With this in mind, we would like to direct any donations toward Animal Care & Protective Services here in Jacksonville, FL. Dad and the rest of our family have turned to this animal shelter multiple times over the years as we added new four-legged friends to our home, so this organization is a natural fit for any charitable donations done in remembrance of him.

After reaching out to Animal Care & Protective Services, we have learned that they are only able to take monetary donations in person and do not currently have the ability to receive online donations. To work around this small inconvenience, our family will allow this campaign to run over the next several weeks and then deliver the total amount collected directly to the facility.
