Richard Milo Blomquist, aka "Uncle Mike, Uncle Milo, Dick" over the last several years has been seeking, contemplating, exploring and thinking about his time in the war and his passion for peace.  He has worked hard to get these stories and thoughts onto paper and is now able to share his passion for world peace through his experience as a B-17 pilot with all of you! Or in his words "I have chosen to share my deep desire for peace with compassion—through this book and my life story—in words."

30 years (or possibly 96 years) in the making his goal of writing a book has finally come to fruition and it is time to now publish his hard work. That is where you come in. As you may know publishing a book also takes time, effort and some money. Richard and his family are putting in the time and effort, but are asking for a little help with the financial requirements to get this book into yours and everyone else's hands to read! The fundraising goal we have here is based off of the estimates we have received from the parties involved in the publishing process.
