Dear friends, 

This fundraiser is set-up to help offset the cost of medical expenses for Rich Martinez and his family.

As many know, Rich recently suffered a serious medical condition that required immediate emergency care and surgery to his brain. He is in critical condition. The incident has deeply affected his mobility and his ability to speak.

Rich is a family man and loves his wife of 14 years, Shelby, and 2 sons, Major (12) and Taven (20), dearly. He works as Pomona Police Officer and has been with the department for more than 20 years. Rich's friends and coworkers describe him as a bright, loving, and passionate guy. His family are the focus of his daily life and sadly, this medical tragedy will affect his ability to work, drive, and perform everyday tasks.

Rich has a long road to recovery and we are asking for friends and family to assist any way they can. Thank you to everyone who has already reached out and those who continue to help Rich and his family. We appreciate the love, support, and prayers.
