Rich VanHorn and Dogwood Skate Shop Fund
Donation protected
We are raising money to lessen some of the financial burden Rich VanHorn, owner of Dogwood Skate Shop, and his partner Natalie, a public school teacher, will be facing in the next few months while Rich undergoes serious medical treatment. On January 4, 2022 a doctor discovered a tumor behind Rich’s right eye. He will be having surgery on Friday, January 7th and requires physical therapy to fully recover. Due to the seriousness of the situation, he will be closing Dogwood Skate Shop until April 2022. Closing Dogwood Skate Shop will create a financial burden for the small business. We are asking the local community to come together and fundraise in hopes of lessening the financial strain felt by the Vanhorn family.
If you have ever visited a Bucks County skatepark, chances are you’ve met Rich. He’s not only the owner of Dogwood Skate Shop, located in Yardley, but he’s also a pillar in the skateboarding community. He was a driving force in the building of the new Middletown Township Skatepark and continuously supports local skateboarding programs. In addition to his passion for skateboarding, Rich is one of the caring and most gracious guys you will ever meet. His partner of eleven years, Natalie, is a public school teacher and is his biggest supporter. You’ll often find Natalie helping out at a Middletown Township Skatepark event or assisting at the shop. They welcomed their beautiful daughter, Mazie in 2018 and have gracefully embraced parenthood, while balancing Rich’s small business and Natalie’s job as a teacher. Please help this amazing family by donating. If you’re unable to donate, please share this page to all social media platforms.
You got this, Rich!
Sincerely,
