Help lay a metal legend to rest

Hi everyone my name is Jess and I am godmother to a fantastic little boy called Faolan.

Very sadly Fao’s dad Rich Ravenhill died suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday 25th August.

 

Rich is an absolute legend in the metal and alternative music world, especially in and around Brighton and Worthing.

He was a friend to all, helping numerous bands expand and share their music.

Rich was a loving father to Fao and committed partner to Bev.

 

Given the sudden and tragic departure of Rich, the family are now facing the terrifyingly large costs of a funeral - one that will honour Rich’s life and allow for everyone who wants to, to attend.

Along with facing a future as a single mother and all of the responsibility of handling bills on a reduced income, Bev just wants to focus on making sure Fao is okay and working on her own grief.

 

Im starting this gofundme page as I’m hoping, the metal community and Rich’s friends, will be able to come together and donate whatever you can afford to help make a huge difference to the pain and suffering of this family right now, especially given there won’t be any flowers at the funeral….. we all know Rich wasn’t a flower kind of guy!

Should there be any funds left over after covering the funeral, this will go towards ensuring Fao is looked after and supported during this life changing and difficult time.
