Rich Montague Memorial 4 Ruthie, Eleanor & Andie

On March 15, 2021, we lost our beloved husband, best friend, soul mate, and father, Rich.  Rich became a community member and formed friendships everywhere he lived: North Carolina, Massachusetts, Lexington, VA, Baltimore (where he met Meghan), and Bel Air.  He was a proud alumni of Washington & Lee, where he made lifelong friendships with classmates and especially with his fraternity brothers of Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI).  To those who loved him most, Rich was a unique and genuine person who sparked joy, empathy and love every time he stepped into a room.  To his beloved daughters, Ruthie (Rooters), Eleanor (E) and Andie (His Golden Nugget) he was merely the best father anyone could hope for.  Rich cherished teaching the girls to fish and taking hikes in the beautiful rural areas of Harford County. He was never happier than he was while spending time with Meghan and his girls.

So many people have reached out to ask how they can help during this very difficult time, adjusting to life without Rich.  We are grateful for any support that will help us with home and living expenses, and in a matter of 3 short years, college tuitions.
