Hello, My name is Jodi and I am fundraising for my dearest friends, the Kangesier family.

On April 1st Rich Kangesier attempted to end his longtime struggle with depression and PTSD by attempting suicide. He did this by driving his vehicle into a bridge pillar at high speeds. He has suffered numerous injuries including a shattered pelvis, shattered femur, and broken back. He received 30 units of blood and he remains in a medically induced coma at this time. Doctors are giving him a 50% chance of survival.

He left his seatbelt on, and it is our belief that there is a part of him that didn't want to die. Richard is the loving husband to his beloved wife Rachael and the loving father to his four children ages 26, 10, 6, & 3. We know Rich would want to see his young children grow up and know he deserves a 2nd chance. The funds from this GoFundMe will go towards medical bills and family expenses.
