A Liver for Rich

UPDATE!!!

My name is Richard. I'm 61 and married to a wonderful woman. I am a father of 8 (3 biological, 4 stepchildren and raising a grandson). I have 12 grandchildren and one on the way. I love my children and want to be around for my 14 year old to graduate. In order to do that I need a new liver badly. Well my amazing wife has to take care of me, helping me with my daily needs from showing, to going to the bathroom, dressing, medications and so much more. She has to drive me to all my appointments which is an hours drive one way and then when we go to Houston its 4 hours. Now I have a chance of getting a Liver in San Antonio but they had put me in the hospital to try and get the infections under control and me stronger to be able to survive the surgery. So my wife will have to make a 3 1/2 drive here and back home (7 hours total) as she will still have to go home to take care of the family, and she will need to eat. So we are asking for donations to help with food, gas and hotel if needed. Please help if you can and share and ask your friends to please share. If I don't get this liver I probably will not make it. I do not like asking for this but I want to make this as stress free for my amazing loving wife as I can, she has been there for me every step of the way, my ROCK. But I (WE) are trusting in God!!  

UPDATE: I have been released from San Antonio Methodist Transplant and Specialty Hospital. I passed every test, actually surpassing DR's expectations. Not on list yet, they want to see me infection free for 3 months in my stomach. So now they want to see me every 2 weeks.
