In Loving Memory of Rich Dieguez
With heavy hearts, we share the devastating loss of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Rich Dieguez, who took his own life on Monday, June 9, 2025 after a quiet, lifelong struggle with depression and alcoholism. A struggle most people never speak about until something like this happens.
Rich was deeply loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a man of integrity, strength, and unwavering dedication. Whether at work or at home, he poured his heart into everything he did. There was nothing he wouldn't do to help someone in need, though he himself never asked for anything.
Rich was a private man who carried the weight of his past in silence. He suffered quietly and for a long time, never letting on how deeply he was hurting. All he ever wanted was to be loved by his wife and children—and he was, deeply.
Rich leaves behind a heartbroken family: his wife, four daughters, one son, and a cherished grandson. The road ahead is filled with grief, healing, and adjustment—but also the responsibility of continuing the life he worked so hard to build.
This GoFundMe was created to support one of his most cherished hopes: the future of his youngest daughter, Abby. Your donation will go directly toward her college fund AND helping others like Rich who struggle with depression and alcoholism. His life may be gone but maybe another life can be saved in his honor.
Thank you for your support, your continued prayers, and your love during this time.
