Rich Albufera, NHS scientist: lost to COVID-19

Our beloved friend, Richzeal Albufera, was a larger than life character who was admired by all. After 3 weeks in intensive care, he sadly lost his battle to COVID-19 Tuesday 9th June 2020.
Rich was a loving husband, brother, son & friend. Rich and his wife, moved from the Philippines to begin their careers working at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS trust in April 2005, he was a biomedical scientist and loved the work that he did. He has always been very hard working and would always have a smile on his face.
Rich leaves behind his loving wife, and our prayers and thoughts go out to her and their family during this extremely difficult time. We are asking dear family and friends to help Rich's family during this heartbreaking time. We would like to give Rich the send-off he deserves back at home in the Philippines alongside his family. Therefore, any kind donations will be given to Rich's wife & will go towards reuniting Rich with his family in the Philippines and to cover arrangements for his funeral, any donations would be greatly appreciated.
