Estimados familiares y amistades
Desafortunadamente el 23 de Junio alrededor de las 3 pm Ricardo Ponce sufrio un paro cardiaco, que causo un derrame cerebral. Como muchos saben que también sufría de diabetes. Como su hija, comencé una recaudación de fondos para el funeral para ayudar a cubrir el costo de los gastos de su funeral. Nuestra familia no estaba preparada para el alto costo de un funeral y, durante este momento difícil, buscamos ayuda.
Ricardo era un padre soltero de 3 hijos, también conocido como un hombre trabajador que nunca se tomaba ningún día libre solo para llegar a fin de mes. En general, fue un gran amigo, hermano, padre y abuelo, por lo que lo extrañaremos mucho.

Ricardo was a single dad of 3, also known as a hardworking man who never took any days off just to make ends meet. He was an overall great friend, brother, father and grandfather so will be missed dearly.
On Friday, June 23, 2023, Ricardo suffered a heart attack while on the job. His coworkers found him unconscious on the floor. Upon being rushed to the hospital, they found that he was suffering from cardiac arrest and had a brain hemorrhage. He went in for emergency surgery to bring him back and stabilize him. With the complications at hand and also being diabetic, he got worse throughout the night. By today, Jun 24, by morning they did not see any brain activity and were declared brain dead. He was on life support and had only a few hours to live, and unfortunately, those few hours were short.
Our family was not prepared for this loss and the high cost of the medical expenses and funeral. As we start this fundraiser, with a heavy heart, we ask for you to take a moment and consider helping us in any way you can.
