Ricardo Martinez Jr. funeral expenses

Our family recently suffered a great loss with the passing of my only son, Ricardo Martinez Jr. He was our family’s protector. He was a son, a father of five, a brother, a husband, a grandson, cousin and tio. A day before his 35th birthday, he was taken from us by a drunk driver who struck him crossing the street. Investigators are still trying to figure out what lead up to this tragic accident. We are all left with broken hearts and a heartache that will never go away, with so many unanswered questions. While no words can express what my family and I are going through, we are taking it one day at time, one heartache at a time, one memory at a time.

This page was created to help cover funeral expenses we will incur, something I never thought I’d be doing for one of my children. The realization that I will never be able to talk to my son again, see my son again or hug my son again has been one of the hardest truths to accept.

Please pray for our family in this time of mourning and please help us lay my son to rest peacefully with those who truly loved him by his side. My family and I thank you for taking time to read our struggle and sharing with loved ones.
