Just two weeks ago, Ricardo arrived at the ER expecting to be treated for his cough and return home. In that short time, he learned of his cancer diagnosis and his family watched the unthinkable unfold.

Ricardo was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend to all. He brought laughter, warmth, and kindness wherever he went. To his mom, Paula, and his father, Ricardo Sr., he was a devoted and loving son. To his sisters, Gaby and Claudia, he was the cherished younger brother — full of light, humor, and generosity, always finding ways to make them laugh and feel loved and cared for. To his little niece, Adeline, he was the fun, playful uncle who could always make her smile. Ricardo’s presence was magnetic, and his compassion touched everyone lucky enough to know him.
