R.O. W. (Ribs on Wheels) was established in August of 2008 based on the dream to provide the city of Houston with Chicago style ribs. With 11 years of serving the Houston area, we believe that we have not disappointed our loyal customers and friends.
As you all know, Hurricane Harvey hit Houston in August 2017. This was devastating to our home and our business which are located off FM 1464. Almost 2 years later, we began to see the light, but on June 1, 2019, ROW experienced another set-back. A fire completely destroyed Ribs on Wheels. Although some of the costs will be covered, ROW will still be short on funds to complete the rebuild.
Sometimes life gives you a set-back for a comeback! We are witnesses to that.
It seemed easier to just shut the doors to our beloved Ribs on Wheels but voices whispered to us that we should ask the people that love ROW for help in continuing to provide the city with the best Chicago style BBQ in Houston. That said, we would like to ask our family, friends, and patrons for your help in rebuilding Ribs on Wheels. I promise, you will not be disappointed. The funds will be used to cover the shortfall from the insurance proceeds.
