Help Us Give Lady the Care She Deserves

A few weeks ago, we rescued an older Golden Retriever we named Lady after finding her wandering along the road. It appeared she had been abandoned, scared, and alone. Since coming into our care, Lady has slowly begun to open up and trust again — showing us just how sweet and gentle she truly is.

Unfortunately, Lady has recently taken a serious turn. She developed a dangerously high fever, which was confirmed at 106.2° by our veterinarian. Because of this, she needed to be hospitalized for the day to receive IV fluids, medications, and further testing to bring her fever down and determine the cause.

So far, we have already spent over $700 on vet visits and medications. Today’s emergency visit alone cost an additional $1,200. We were also informed that if Lady requires transfer to an emergency veterinary hospital, admission alone is estimated at $3,000–$5,000, with total treatment costs potentially exceeding $7,000 depending on what care is needed.

We are doing everything we can to give Lady the chance she deserves, but the financial burden is quickly becoming overwhelming. Every dollar raised will go directly toward her medical care, diagnostics, hospitalization, and any treatment necessary to help her recover.
