Hello everyone,

My name is Rhysy Williams, a 21 year old transgender woman from the UK, currently based in Berlin. I am seeking financial support for my medical transition and surgery debt. Specifically - Facial Feminization Surgery, Laser treatment sessions and Breast Augmentation. Including recovery fees and therapy.

i wrote this in May 2025 before my first procedure:

I have been living with gender dysphoria for as long as I can remember and it has recently become debilitating, affecting all aspects of my life and those around me. Since graduating university in October 2024 and getting a freelance visa in November I have been trying my hardest to commence my career and despite having some good gigs, it feels impossible for me to get up and put myself out there most days. I can't stand shaving constantly, crying whilst doing my makeup, hating myself is exhausting, leaving the house is painful. My depression has completely taken over, I have become very reliant on substances, I struggle to sleep and eat healthily unless I have a job and something to keep me in a routine. (community sessions, acting gigs, my one woman show etc). I have been moving non stop and catering to others to convince myself everything is fine but it leads me to complete burn out.

I recently left Berlin for some R&R, I got a prescription for anti depressants and I am seeing a therapist online for regular sessions. I have also been able to stay sober for the time being, these aspects have helped me a lot and I plan on continuing to actively work on myself to try and get better.

I have a consultation for FFS this week in Marbella and I am fully prepared to loan the money and be in debt so I can get these gender-affirming procedures asap. Hence why I need this go fund me page - to be able to pay deposits for surgeries and pay off fees.

(as of august 2025, i have completed one procedure and have debt to pay it off)

Asking for help is something I do not do - but I have come to realise that I desperately need it.

I acknowledge that I have a lot of privilege as a white person and also being from the UK - I am lucky to be in this position to ask for help and get funding and help asap. and to be able to remove myself from the chaos of what my life has been in berlin recently is also a huge privilege.

A lot of my trans sisters in the UK and Berlin have struggled for years with something that I can get done easier and faster because of my whiteness.

I stand with my black and brown Queer and Trans family and I would not be where I am without them.

Any support I receive will deeply help me navigate the world as a young trans person. at the moment being a trans woman, early in her transition is very scary. The UK government is more bothered about what bathrooms trans people are using than the genocide they are actively supporting, police brutality and the massive poverty crisis.

I am so thankful for any support you can give whether that is sharing this go fund me or donating.

Your money will do a lot for me. It will pay for life changing procedures, cover me whilst I am in recovery, and help me exist in a world that (not to be negative) currently hates trans people. I will feel safer in public spaces where myself or other trans women have been harassed and assaulted in the past. And It will push me to flourish and take steps into becoming the successful young woman I was born to be.
