Hi everyone,

My name is Daryl, and I'm one of the volunteer coaches for a fantastic local Under 8s football team, Rhyl Hearts Athletic.

Our team started from a simple family moment back in the summer of 2023 when my son, Dexter, took an interest in football. While Dexter eventually decided the pitch wasn't for him, I had made a commitment to this amazing group of boys. I promised to see this through for as long as I possibly could—and it’s been the best promise I’ve ever made.

Over the last two years, this team has become a little family. My fellow coaches, Rob, Jaedon, and I have watched these boys grow in skill, confidence, and friendship. As a volunteer-run club, we rely entirely on the generosity of our community to give these lads the best possible experience.

Our New Goal: The XbotGo Falcon AI Camera

This year, we want to take the boys' development and our coaching to the next level. We are raising funds to purchase an XbotGo Falcon AI Camera.

This isn't just a camera; it’s a high-tech tool designed specifically for team sports. It uses AI to automatically track the ball and the players in 4K, allowing us to:

Celebrate the Boys: We want to capture those "magic moments"—a brilliant pass, an outstanding save by our keeper, or a clinical hat-trick—and share those high-quality highlights with the parents and the kids to boost their confidence.

Coach More Effectively: It will allow us to review training sessions and games. By self-evaluating our drills and the boys' positioning, we can make every session better and more impactful for their growth.

Create Lasting Memories: These highlights will be something the boys can look back on for years to come.
