My niece, Rhyan Mills (Mike and Whitney's youngest daughter), was officially diagnosed with Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia (JMML) about two weeks ago. JMML is an extremely rare form of leukemia affecting only about 3 out of every 1 million births in the US.
Her treatment is scheduled to begin next week starting with some intense chemo and then a bone marrow transplant. A transplant is the only viable treatment for long-term recovery. Thankfully, Mike and Whitney's oldest daughter, Tayvri, is a match for her sister and will be able to provide the stem cells.
No one ever expects something like this nor are they prepared for it. This campaign is to help offset some of the incredible financial costs they will be facing. If you have the ability, please donate. I know they will greatly appreciate it.
