Hi, My name is CJ, I am 10 yrs old and I have a disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA-Type 3).  This disease affects the muscles which makes me unable to run, jump, go up stairs,ride bikes, and my walking is slow.  This disease is progressive and I could possibly one day be in a wheelchair.  There is currently a treatment which could help me but insurance doesn't cover it and it is experimental (not FDA).  This treatment has helped a lot of people with this disease. I would like to try this treatment as I would love to do the things other children do before it is too late.  I am trying to raise funds to help pay for this treatment, and for me and my family to get to the location which is in San Diego, CA.
