In the past, Rochester High School (RHS) parents have held a series of fundraisers throughout the year. These fundraisers are held with the goal of providing the graduating class with a much deserved Safe and Sober celebration the night of their graduation.

This event has become an RHS tradition over the years. However, it is not just a fun evening - it is also an opportunity to keep our graduates safe. Not only are the students together in a safe environment and having a good time, it is a way to let our Seniors know how proud the Warrior community is of their accomplishment, and that we support them in their future endeavors.

With that being said, due to Covid the fundraising has become much more challenging this year. Typically, at this time the parents of graduates would be planning an auction and a rummage sale to raise the money needed to put on an event. This year, the auction will not be able to be held and the rummage sale is too difficult to navigate while remaining mindful of the safety precautions to prevent the spread of Covid-19. 

Covid has taken so much from these kids. They have already missed out on many of their senior year milestones such as prom, attending sporting events, and even creating memories in the hallways with their friends at school. 

Thankfully, we have the power to do something to help make memories for these Seniors. We are asking our families, friends, and community members to donate any amount to this Go Fund Me. 100% of the money raised will go towards providing our Seniors with a Covid-safe indoor/outdoor event. We will have entertainment, food, and prizes for each student. While we do not know what graduation looks like at this time, we do know that we want to provide our Seniors with an evening they will cherish and remember for many years to come.
