I'm Jeff Bach...this morning I got a phone call about 5 am....the hysterical voice on the other end was my daughter, She said "dad ...the house is on fire!...and in the next line...I got the kids out OK...I'm so sorry about the house and your stuff.
I feel so blessed that the second line didn't start with "I couldn't find....or " I tried my best but....
Anyway to make a long story short they didn't have renters insurance and all their belongings besides what they were wearing and ..texting on...are gone.
The red cross has them in a hotel until monday.
I thought of a number that I thought would help get the kids clothes and personal hygene essentials, baby
formula, diapers etc.  They are going to need to get a place to stay maybe an appartment down payment and first months rent electricity turned on etc.
They have been struggling like many families and Christine recently got her nurses lisence renewed and is getting sparadic jobs. Andy (my son in law) is working a factory job all the hours available to him.
I just know this setback didn't come at a good time but I have faith that things happen for a reason and we will all be better off in the long run for going through it.
I wish I had the resources to help more than I am able but I have my own issues (heart attacks, divorce, robberies, etc.) which have left me in a struggle just keeping the bills paid in my little car repair shop.
