Hi my name is Mandy McIntyre. I am setting up this go fund me for my late step brother, Brett McLeod who was tragically shot and killed on October 07, 2025 near the town of Edson, Alberta.

Brett went out to rural property to resolve an issue with his ex girlfriend, when he was shot and killed by his ex’s new boyfriend. The Man then jumped into a car a fled the scene. He was arrested in Spruce Grove, Alberta a few hours later and charged with 1st degree murder.

There is no trail date set yet.

I am hoping to raise money so we can have a service in memory of Brett and to also help my step mother with any expenses.

Brett is survived by his beautiful Daughter Mackenzie, his Mother Wendy (Russell) his Brothers -Scott and Dean (and family), Step Sisters - Mandy and Misty (and family) and so many of his friends and other relatives. This place will never be the same without you!
