This is Rhonda’s daughter, Kyra, asking for help raising funds for my mom who had a stroke on the afternoon of Sunday, April 27th, 2025 (preceding her heart attack in January). Rhonda is currently in the Intensive Care Unit at Central Peninsula Hospital and has a very long road to recovery, which will involve weeks of therapy at St. Elias Specialty Hospital in Anchorage (3 hours away from her home) and a possible procedure on her heart. She is working hard to regain her speech and strength in her left extremities. Any funds donated will go towards her mortgage, bills, utilities, care for her home and dogs while she is away, and any travel expenses not covered by insurance.
