Rhonda Price is more than a friend—she is a pillar of our community, a woman of faith, and someone who has poured love into so many lives. She is a retired school teacher, a talented artist, and a piano teacher, though her illness has now made it impossible for her to continue teaching piano. Rhonda’s devotion to her faith and her community has touched countless people over the years.
Just weeks ago, Rhonda was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer—a diagnosis no one ever expects. What started as a normal year with a clear mammogram quickly turned into a life-changing journey filled with tests, appointments, and now ongoing treatments. Through it all, Rhonda has shown incredible strength and faith, with Brent always by her side.
As they are self-employed, with the family income coming solely from Brent’s WRS Hydraulics small family business, this has taken a toll on their finances. Brent is with Rhonda at all of her medical appointments located downtown in the medical center. With gasoline prices rising and the need to eat out during these trips, expenses add up quickly. We are praising God for answered prayers already: no cancer detected in her bones or skin, the tumor is no longer palpable, and other scans have come back normal. However, the fight is not over. The cancer has affected her lymph nodes, and Rhonda is currently undergoing chemotherapy and preparing for a mastectomy in August, with more surgeries afterward.
As many of you know, cancer doesn’t just affect health—it affects everyday life. Travel for treatments, time away from work, medical expenses, and daily needs are creating a heavy burden for Rhonda and her husband Brent. That’s where we come in. This fundraiser is to help ease that burden so Rhonda can focus on what matters most—healing, faith, and family. Donations will be used for medical bills, travel, daily expenses, and the continued unexpected. If you are able, please consider donating. No amount is too small. If you can’t give, please continue to pray and share. Rhonda has always been there for others. Now it’s our turn to stand with her. “Where two or more are gathered…” — and we are believing together for healing.
