I’m Dalas Staton, Rhonda’s son, and I’m setting up this go fund me page to help with unexpected expenses. My mom was recently diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer. She has small cell carcinoma, which is clusters of tumors spread out in her body. Her scans confirmed she has tumors in her liver, lungs, colon, and brain stem. Her wishes were to do treatment, chemo and radiation and some medications to help with pain and swelling, in order to get more time with her family. She no longer is responding to treatment and has declined to critical condition hospice care. She still requires 24/7 care and that comes with a hefty price her insurance doesn't qualify for. Because of the severity she is unable to work. Her wishes are that if you choose to help donate to please list what it’s going towards (care, gas, treatments, or just to help make her comfortable.) we’re thankful to have more time with mom and want to make the best of it while she’s with us.
