Rhonda's Safari Dream

I am sure you all know Iris McCoy-Slongo a leader with Partylite and a gal I am so honored to call my friend. She is going through a very rough time right now. Her daughter Rhonda's has been told her cancer is terminal and I was hoping we could help them out with a Wish!!
Let me introduce you to Rhonda, an incredibly strong young woman with a huge heart! As a child Rhonda developed meningitis which was misdiagnosed resulting in some brain damage. Also in the past couple of years Rhonda has battled cancer twice. Colon cancer, fought like a demon and beat it, then liver cancer, she kicked that in the butt too! Did I mention she is a tough cookie and tries not to let anything get her down? It is with a heavy heart that I say the cancer is back. They are telling her that the outlook is not good and that treatment would be focused on palliative care (meaning to slow the cancer and to keep her comfortable). I am asking for your aid to help her family make Rhonda’s dream vacation come true.
Rhonda is a lover of people, she always has a smile for everyone she meets and is the sweetest girl I know. She also loves animals! It has always been her dream to go on an African Lion Safari. Of course for medical reasons she can’t go outside of Canada. Luckily there are Adventure Vacations in Southern Ontario that her family can take her to; that’s a blessing! The only downfall is the cost for airfare, park tickets, hotel accommodations along with food and other small items that they may encounter while enjoying Rhonda’s dream. It is quite costly for a family of 6 trying to make lasting memories.
I know that Iris and family would appreciate any donation that you would be willing to make to help with this dream. Thank you all so very much it will mean the world to them.
As the park closes in early October they have a tenative date to leave for mid to late in September. Your generous donations prior to end of August would help them get things booked.
