You may have met Mark and Rhonda Gilliland at one of the many local events in Chattanooga and have had your picture taken. They are always the smiling photographers who take your picture that lands in Chatter magazine or numerous other publications. They are that couple that everyone knows and loves. 

Rhonda is one of the most genuine souls and would do anything in her power to help anyone at all costs.  The first time I ever met Rhonda Gilliland, I remember saying "She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met!" Beyond the sweetness and the willingness to help anyone, Rhonda is a fighter and today I want to open up a way to help Rhonda and her family during the fight for her life. 

On Friday, May 31, Rhonda suffered a massive heart attack.  She suffered from severe complications when they went in to do her heart cath procedure and was transported to St. Thomas hospital in Nashville, TN. She received an aorta replacement and her chest was left open to ensure the aorta takes properly and to try and maintain many other complications. Once Rhonda is closed up, she will immediately be on the list for a heart transplant. After her heart transplant, she will be required to stay in Nashville for at least 3 months. 

This is where we need your help! Hotels, food and coffee get expensive and when you compound that time for months, you do the math, not to mention the medical bills that are already adding up. The last thing we want this family to have to think about is finances. So lets take a little bit of burden off of them for this long road they have ahead.
