Rhonda F. Rodgers Band Scholarship Fund

In dedicated memory of Rhonda F. Rogers, we would like to introduce and raise funds to support a deserving candidate with the Rhonda F. Rodgers Band Scholarship Fund. Rhonda had a lifelong love of music and performing arts. She was actively involved in marching and concert band during middle school and high school and she continued her involvement in the band during her tenure at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. The scholarship has been created to honor her memory and her love of the arts. It will be awarded annually to a deserving student who is a motivated and talented instrumental musician majoring in Music or a related field. The candidate can be either a potential or existing student who has been accepted to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. The scholarship monies are intended to be used to pay for expenses outside of their college tuition (i.e., travel, books, toiletries, etc.) in order to help the student with personal expenses. Our hope is that the scholarship inspires and motivates future musicians. In this way we continue to pay tribute, honor and respect to Rhonda's wonderful and beautiful life and that her infectious spirit will continue to live on through future musicians.

All contributors will receive a receipt of their donation and a full report of all finances received upon request. Moreover, our goal is to be transparent and accountable in this process.
