On September 19, 2019, I was involved in a major car accident. I was behind a tractor/trailer at a stoplight when another truck came up behind me, he did not apply brakes and hit me pushing me under the trailer. I have been in a hospital since and still unable to walk. I was in a coma for the first six days and do not remember anything. According to the Dr’s, they lost me four times during this period. I had multiple fractures of my left leg, no feeling in right leg, separated right shoulder and four broken vertebrae in my back.

During this time, my wife Rhonda,, has been going through hell. She is dealing with my devastating injuries and her father’s Alzheimer’s and for the first two months, she is going back and forth to multiple facilities to deal with the both of us. This terrible situation force her to end her job to try to take care of both of us. 

In November, her father passed away, so now she had to deal the funeral home, cleaning out his house and me. That is not all! A few weeks later, her 97 year old grandmother passed away and was devastated. This meant more funeral arrangements and cleaning out another house. Again, let me State that I am in the same hospital and I am unable to walk. 

Prior to all of this, she also lost her stepfather, who she adored and we had to put our dog down due to old age. He was my buddy!

To conclude, as of this post, it has been seventeen weeks and I am still in a hospital and unable to walk. The prognosis for me is “it will happen” I am just not sure when. As for Rhonda,she is still emotional drained from everything that has happened.

We need help to take care of bills, mortgage, medical bills, food and many other things. Please help us.
