On Feb. 9,2015 my family life changed forever, my son Joshua was diagnosed with a primary Ewing sarcoma of the pelvis. Joshua loves baseball, school, and life in general. He is the one that makes a whole room full of people laugh. He is your typical very active 8yr boy and loves to spend time with his older brother and baby sister. We went from our normal everyday life to a 36 week treatment plan that involves frequent hospitalization every other week with 5 chemotherapy agents and hospitalization in between for unexpected fever and any other issues that comes up. We are currently in week 10 of treatement and after 12 weeks we will have to repeat pet scan and test to confirm if the medication are working. At that time they are going to attempt to remove the tumor if operable. If they are able to remove 100% of the tumor, Joshua will then require another 22 weeks of chemo. If they are not able to remove 100% of the tumor then he will have a 22 weeks of chemo and radiation treatment. We are at the hospital every other week and then on off weeks there are clinic visits and outpatient chemo. The money being raised will help us with medical bills, transportation and other bills due to missed work .
Thank You very Much for your support my family is very grateful. Thank you and God Bless You.
